Carolingian

Carolingian (Caroline minuscule), often misspelled as ‘carolingia’, is a writing script developed in Europe. It was used in the Carolingian Renaissance time, from around 800 1200. It was the cursive version of ‘Roman Half Uncial’ and also featured elements of the ‘Insular script’. This Carolingian writing style was later developed into ‘Blackletter’.

Gaelic alphabet


The Gaelic is a Celtic language used by the Scottish and Irish. Scottish Gaelic was bought to Scotland in the 4th century AD. The Gaelic alphabet is made up of 18 letters.
