Needlepoint lettering

Needlepoint lettering?

Needlepoint lettering
The two most common types of needlepoint stitch lettering techniques are needle point tapestry and needle point embroidery. Tapestry is woven wool or fabric, created by hand or tapestry machines. Tapestry is loose strips of fabric woven into sheets of fabric which can be woven plain or decorative. Embroidery is sown or woven decorations, embellishments or lettering, into materials. Embroidery can use small shells, beads and other decorative pieces in the process.

Needlepoint letteringNeedlepoint is a type of embroidery. Its process includes the stitching of various patterns. The pattern stitches has name, here are some well known needlepoint patterns: are: bargello, gobelin stitch, basket weave, Cross stitch, Overcast Stitch, tent stitch, continental stitch, back stitch, chain stitch, and diagonal stitch. You can find many needlepoint books and resources online. Here are my recommended favorites! [soon to come!]
