Sign Language alphabet chart: British sign language
About:
British Sign Language (BSL) is the sign language developed, and dominantly used in the United Kingdom. Sign language is a communication used by deaf people. British sign language is quite different from American Sign Language. The main different is that ALS uses one hand in there sign language, whereas BSL uses two.
British sign language has different regional dialects, and may not always be fully understood when the different regains try to communicate together using BSL.
Many TV programs, films, cartoons etc, incorporate sign language in there programs. You have probably seen it, the little man or women at the bottom corner of your screen? It can be highly annoying and distracting if you’re not deaf and are trying to watch TV, but it is highly appreciated by the deaf people and really helps them.
Calligraphy and Sign Language:
Like I was saying in the American sign language page, adding sign language symbols to your calligraphy work could be just what you need to add a unique touch to your designs. Look at what i did bellow. I did this digitally and you can also find this example diagram on the ASL page of this site:

The printables are a4 size and of good quality. These preview images are of a far less quality than the actual printables. The difference between these printables in only the colour. The colours are grey, pink and blue. They are of the (BSL) British sign language alphabet.
